Washington Nationals Leave MASN for Nationals.TV

Baseball fans in the D.C. area will have a new streaming service this year. Washington’s MLB franchise will now stream on Nationals.TV, a service produced and distributed by Major League Baseball. Packages will go on sale in February.

The change comes after the Nats had been affiliated with the Orioles-controlled Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) for over 20 years.

Which Live TV Streaming Services Will Carry Nationals.TV?

An announcement hasn’t been made yet, but we can guess it will be carried by the same services that already carry the MLB-produced channels like those for the Diamondbacks and Padres: DIRECTV and Fubo.

You will also be able to buy a standalone subscription.

What Will Nationals.TV Cost?

The price hasn’t been announced, but it should match its sister networks at $19.99/month or $99.99/year.

Who Can Subscribe to Nationals.TV?

To watch the channel, you’ll need to live in the D.C. area, but that extends as far north as some parts of Pennsylvania and as far south as North Carolina.

How Can You Watch the Nationals if You Live Outside the Nationals.TV Area?

The out-of-market solution is always MLB.TV.

$29.99/mo.

Nationally-televised games may appear on ESPN, NBC/Peacock/NBC Sports Network, FOX/FS1/FOX One, TBS/HBO Max, and/or Apple TV.

What Other Changes Are Coming for MLB on TV in 2026?

One of the biggest changes is that all 9 MLB teams that were affiliated with FanDuel Sports Network have canceled their partnership. We assume they’ll follow the Nats’ lead and let the MLB handle their production and distribution.

Netflix will also carry an Opening Day game and the Home Run Derby.
