Ultimate Guide to Streaming the 2026 Winter Olympics

The 2026 Winter Olympics are racing closer like a bobsled, and we’re here to make it simple. The easiest solution? Just sign up for Peacock and you’ll be able to watch everything there.

Peacock will stream every sport and event, including all 116 medal events across 16 sports.

If you don’t want Peacock, there are other options, but it’s a bit more complicated. Follow along and we’ll walk you through.

$16.99/mo.

When Are the 2026 Olympics?

The Opening Ceremony is Friday, Feb. 6 from 2-5 p.m. ET.

But the action actually begins two day earlier on Wednesday, Feb. 4. The first event is Alpine Skiing – Men’s Downhill: Training, which starts at 5:30 a.m. ET.

The Closing Ceremony is Sunday, Feb. 22 from 2:30 p.m.-5 p.m.

What Channels and Streamers Carry the Olympics?

Again, Peacock is the one-stop answer for every Olympic broadcast, but there are other options.

Olympic events will air on 3 traditional channels.

  • NBC
  • USA Network
  • CNBC

Those channels are available on DIRECTV ($69.99+), Hulu + Live TV ($89.99), YouTube TV ($82.99), and Sling TV ($56.99).

Note: Sling TV only carries NBC in Boston, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Hartford/New Haven, Los Angeles, Miami/Fort Lauderdale, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose, and Washington, D.C.

Remember that an antenna is a great one-time purchase that gives you free access to NBC and several important channels forever. That wouldn’t help you watch any USA or CNBC events, however.

Peacock offers 7 days free only if you activate it through Prime Video.

DIRECTV has a 5-day free trial.

Hulu + Live TV is free for 3 days.

YouTube TV is currently offering a 10-day free trial.

What Is the Cheapest Option to Watch the Olympics?

If you don’t want to bother with hopping free trials, Peacock is your least expensive option. Olympic coverage is available on Peacock Premium ($10.99) or Peacock Premium Plus ($16.99).
