How to Ask Netflix to Add a Show or Movie
Ever find yourself wishing Netflix would add a classic movie or a cool, new indie film? Netflix doesn’t advertise it, but they actually have a form specifically for you to request it.
- Open the Netflix title request form.
- Suggest up to 3 titles.
- Hit “Submit Suggestion.”
That’s it!
Now, will Netflix actually add your title to their library? Probably not. But if enough people request a title, there’s a chance.
$7.99/mo.
As far as we know, Netflix is the only streaming service that takes requests like this.
Studio-owned streamers like Paramount+ and Disney+ tend to stick with their own movies and shows, rather than licensing them from competitors. Most of Prime Video‘s library comes from other studios, but there’s not a straightforward way to request titles. This makes Netflix your best bet for making a request.
The other option, of course, is just to buy a physical disc or digital copy of the movie you want, and that should give you access to the movie or show indefinitely.
