Mariners Announce Streaming Options for 2026 After ROOT Sports Shutdown

After the closure of ROOT Sports, the Seattle Mariners needed a new plan for 2026. Now we know what it is: the team will offer its games on Mariners.TV, and there will be no local blackouts.

Mariners.TV will be available starting Feb. 10. It will cost $99.99 per season or $19.99/month. That makes it one of the more affordable MLB teams to stream.

The team says it is working with live TV providers like DIRECTV and YouTube TV to offer a Mariners channel. This channel would have live games, along with brief pre- and post-game coverage. We’ll know more closer to Opening Day. It’s likely that any services carrying this channel will hit you with a regional sports fee.

Who Can Subscribe to Mariners.TV?

The service will only be available in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Montana and Hawaii.

How Can You Watch Mariners Games If You Life Outside Those Markets?

As always, the baseball out-of market solution is MLB.TV.

$29.99/mo.

Will Mariners Games Be Available Over-the-Air?

No. The Mariners have not announced plans to air games free for antenna-users.
