Lineups Look Underwhelming for Now
Any price relief is welcome, but these packages don’t inspire a ton of confidence. We know more packages will be announced, hopefully at much lower price points.
We’ll never get true “a la carte” channel pricing because the companies involved own too many channels and want to subsidize them across multiple subscribers.
At the moment, DIRECTV‘s smaller channel bundles seem like the superior value, but they do require some harder choices. As always, we’ll track what YouTube TV has to offer and give our best recommendations to help you stream the maximum entertainment for the minimum price.
