Sling TV Drops Cartoon Network from Orange Plan – How to Keep Watching
Sling TV is one of our go-to services for affordable live TV. But today, subscribers who have the Orange plan are losing access to Cartoon Network. In an email to subscribers, Sling blamed “rising costs from the programmer.” Here’s how to keep watching.
Option 1: Switch to Sling Blue or Orange + Blue
Sling Blue is the same cost as Sling Orange and it still has Cartoon Network. Switching to Blue means you would lose ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, Disney Channel, Freeform, and MotorTrend. You can keep them all if you choose the Orange + Blue plan.
$45.99/mo. $35.99/mo.
Option 2: Sign Up for Max
On top of being one of the best streaming options available, Max gives you the Cartoon Network lineup. In fact, Cartoon Network’s website now redirects to Max’s.
Beyond the Cartoon Network library, you’ll also see incredible TV shows like “The Last of Us,” “The Rehearsal,” “Veep,” “The Sopranos,” “Succession,” “The Wire,” “The Penguin,” “Watchmen,” “Deadwood,” “Game of Thrones,” “Barry,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “The West Wing,” “South Park,” “Friends,” “ER,” “Six Feet Under,” “Sex and the City,” “The Big Bang Theory,” and “Band of Brothers.”
There’s also a huge movie library with “The Wizard of Oz,” “Barbie,” “The Batman,” “Speed,” “The Martian,” “RoboCop,” “Joker,” “The Lord of the Rings,” “The Dark Knight,” “Superman,” “Casablanca,” “Lawrence of Arabia,” “2001: A Space Odyssey,” “Singin’ in the Rain,” and much more.

Option 3: Choose a Different Live TV Streaming Service
Cartoon Network is available on DIRECTV (starting at $84.99), Hulu + Live TV ($82.99), YouTube TV ($82.99). Of these, I would recommend Hulu + Live TV because it comes with free Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu on-demand.
