How to Add Max to Prime Video: A Step by Step Guide
Prime Video is one of the most popular video streaming services; Max offers some of the best TV and movies ever made. But did you know you can combine the two? Here’s how to make that happen.
Make Sure You’re Subscribed to Prime Video
If you have Amazon Prime, you already have Prime Video. If you’re not yet subscribed, give it a try free for 30 days.

Go to Prime Video’s Max Page
Within Prime Video, Max has its own page.
Once there, click More details.
Choose Your Max Plan
Prime Video offers two different versions of Max.
Max Basic With Ads ($9.99) gives you Max movies and shows, but you will have to sit through commercials.
Max Standard ($16.99) provides access to the Max library as well as live sports and a modified CNN feed called “CNN Max.”
The Standard plan allows downloads through Prime Video. There are no commercials except with live TV and sports.
Click Select plan.
Review Your Choice
Amazon gives you a chance to back out, make changes, or confirm on this final page. When you’re happy with your choice, verify your information and hit the big yellow Confirm button.
That’s it! You’re signed up. You’ll be charged each month until you cancel.
Now that you’re signed up, you’ll see Max content within Prime Video. Feel free to play or download anything you want. If you want to limit your browsing to the Max section, just navigate to the Subscriptions section on the top of your screen and you’ll see Max there.
What Can You Watch with Max on Prime Video?
Max has a fantastic lineup of movies and TV shows.
