What Soccer Can You Watch with World Soccer Ticket?
Subscribers will see more than 1,500 matches from Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Major League Soccer, LALIGA, Liga MX, the FIFA World Cup, and more
What’s the Catch?
You’ll have to pay a $9.95/month “HD Technology fee” to watch in high-definition. New internet customers have to pay a $100 “Professional Install Fee.” If you use their provided X1 streaming device, there’s also a $10/month fee.
I used to subscribe to their internet service, and when I went to cancel, they claimed I owed them money I didn’t owe. I kept getting collection notices for a month of service they didn’t provide.
Should You Sign Up for World Soccer Ticket?
Regardless of how tempting a cable package may seem, I never recommend it. You get jammed with hidden fees and it’s awfully difficult to break free from the agreement if you ever want to quit.
I know Xfinity tries to make it seem like an easy choice for fans, but streaming services are almost always a better value. You can go month-to-month and use whatever internet provider you want. There are no contracts or hidden fees. You can drop a service when your sports league goes into the offseason.
Flexibility is freedom, and World Soccer Ticket takes that flexibility away.
