What Are the Best Acorn TV Alternatives?
If the price has gotten too high or you’re just looking for a similar streamer, you might consider BritBox ($8.99), PBS Masterpiece ($5.99), BBC Select ($5.99), or Best of British Television ($3.99).
It’s almost impossible to avoid price hikes on streaming services. If you’re looking to save money, I recommend dropping the service every few months to focus on an alternative or a free service like Kanopy. Too often, we subscribe to 3 or 4 services, but we never take full advantage of all of them. It’s better to cycle with fewer services so you really explore the library.
If you’re an Acorn TV die-hard, the annual plan makes sense, since you’ll get 12 months for the price of 10.
