FanDuel Sports Network Finally Loses All 9 MLB Teams
As MLB teams gear up for Spring Training, all of the clubs affiliated with FanDuel Sports Network are busy looking for new broadcast partners. This change will affect the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels, Miami Marlins, Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals, and Tampa Bay Rays.
Where Will the Teams Stream Now?
Six teams will follow the lead of teams like the Mariners and Padres, letting the league handle production and distribution. Those teams are:
- Brewers
- Cardinals
- Marlins
- Rays
- Reds
- Royals
But three teams haven’t chosen their next move:
- Angels
- Braves
- Tigers
One possibility is to build up their own platform along the lines of Monumental or NESN. Sports Business Journal reports the Braves are most likely to spin up an operation like the Texas Rangers, which stream on Victory+.
It might actually work in your favor if you don’t live where your favorite team plays. All out-of-market games are carried on MLB.TV.

What Teams Still Partner with FanDuel Sports Network?
With the MLB teams on the run, FanDuel still has some NBA and NHL franchises. SBJ reports those teams did not get their most recent rights fee payments earlier this week, so it’s an open question whether FanDuel can survive the current season or whether things will unravel before the playoffs.
