FanDuel Sports Network Nears 650,000 Subscribers, on Track for 1 Million by Year’s End
Don’t count regional sports streaming out yet. Despite a chaotic TV landscape that is forcing sports leagues to testify on Capitol Hill tomorrow, FanDuel Sports Network announced today it has nearly 650,000 subscribers. The company believes it will cross 1 million dollars by the end of the year.
The regional sports provider reported it doubled its paid subscriber base in just eight weeks.
$19.99
In late October 2024, the service formerly known as “Bally Sports Network” rebranded with the new FanDuel name. But the linear channels are notoriously difficult to find. Among multi-channel streamers, they’re only available on DIRECTV and Fubo.
But this year brought something new: sports fans can add FanDuel Sports Network as a Prime Video channel. Company leaders credit that move for the big boost in subscribers.
“Through our industry-leading multiplatform distribution, unmatched local rights aggregation and scalable live production capabilities, we’re creating a more dynamic, accessible, and modern ecosystem for hometown sports, and we’re just getting started,” said David Preschlack, CEO of Main Street Sports Group.
