Great American Family Joins YouTube TV, Launches Standalone Streamer GFam+

If you’re looking for family-friendly content with a strong dose of Christian faith mixed in, the Great American Family ecosystem has been taking major leaps forward in the last few months. Two of its popular channels – ย Great American Familyย andย Great American Faith & Living – are now available on YouTube TV.

This comes shortly after the launch of the company’s standalone streamer, GFam+.

How to Access the Great American Channels on YouTube TV

If you’ve never messed with your channel guide, you’ll see the channels listed within your normal lineup. If you’ve created a custom guide, you’ll need to add them manually. That’s easiest on a desktop browser. On the YouTube TV website, click Live, then where it says Sort, click the dropdown menu and where it says Custom, click Edit.

New channels are usually at the end of the list. Select them and move them wherever you like within your lineup.

There’s no added cost for the channels.

The company says the on-demand service Great American Pure Flix will be available as an add-on to YouTube TV soon.

$9.99/mo.

What is GFam+?

GFam+ is just the direct-to-consumer way to watch Great American Family and Great American Faith & Living. You still have to deal with commercials. There is no on-demand feature.

What Does GFam+ Cost?

GFam+ is $4.99/month, but you can save by paying for a year in advance, which works out to $4.17/month (paid $49.99 annually).
