Hoopla is one of our favorite free streaming services. As long as your library participates, you’ll get free movies, music, and TV shows. Even better, Hoopla offers “BingePasses” – free 7-day access to dozens of streaming services including Hallmark+ and Curiosity Stream.

Now, Hoopla has added 10 more BingePasses especially for kids:

One hiccup with the video-based BingePasses: you can’t access the apps on every device.

What Else Can You Do on Hoopla?

Watch TV Shows

Popular shows on Hoopla include “The Cleaner,” “Archangel,” “Interview With the Vampire,” “Sherlock,” “Mayfair Witches,” “Murdoch Mysteries,” “Father Brown,” and “Death in Paradise.”

Watch Movies

So the movie selection isn’t as good as my other library streaming love, Kanopy, but there are still some fine titles. Check out “The Cobbler,” “Sonic the Hedgehog,” “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,” “Mean Girls,” “Grease,” “Runaway Bride,” “13 Going on 30,” “Interstellar,” “Charlotte’s Web,” “Silkwood,” and “The Truman Show.”

Binge Music

The music library is shockingly up-to-date for a library service. You can listen to popular artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, Jon Batiste, Chappell Roan, Benson Boone, Lady Gaga, Kid Cudi, Offset, Teddy Swims, Olivia Rodrigo, and the Kpop Demon Hunters Soundtrack.

Read eBooks and Comics

The Ebook selection is great with popular titles like “Don’t Believe Everything You Think,” “The Convenient Marriage,” “Better Small Talk,” “Sunrise on the Reaping,” “The Psychology of Money,” “Five Found Dead,” and the Harry Potter series.

You’ll see A-list comic book and manga titles like Marvel Zombies, Dog Man, Big Nate, Parachute Kids, Wings of Fire, and Booster Gold.

Listen to Audiobooks

If you’d rather listen while multitasking, check out an audiobook from Hoopla’s great collection. Popular titles right now include “The Housemaid,” “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” “The House Witch,” “Royally Rearranged,” “Dead Med,” “The Nantucket Inn,” “We’ll Always Have Summer,” “Offside,” and “The Tenant.”
