What Are the Paramount+ Price Changes?

While the monthly price of each Paramount+ plan will increase by just $1, the annual plans are going up far more: up $20 for the ad-free plan and up $30 for the ad-supported option.

This means grabbing the ad-supported annual plan now would save you $47.89 over paying 12 months at the new price.

What Can You Watch with Paramount+?

Paramount+ is one of the most well-rounded streaming services. Its library has something for everyone. If you choose the ad-free Premium plan, you get to watch your live, local CBS affiliate.

Paramount+ sports lineup

Paramount+ Sports

Paramount+ has a strong lineup of sports, including all UFC numbered events and Fight Nights, March Madness, college football, NFL games, The Masters, UEFA Champions League, Serie A, Argentina Liga Profesional de Fรบtbol, EFL, Carabao Cup, Concacaf Nations League, and NWSL.

Paramount+ Originals

Paramount+ is home to most of the popular series from Taylor Sheridan. Beyond the “Yellowstone” spinoffs “1883” and “1923,” you can also see “Landman,” “Tulsa King,” “Lawmen: Bass Reeves,” “Mayor of Kingstown,” and “Lioness.” These popular shows always feature big-name actors as the lead: Harrison Ford, Sylvester Stallone, Zoe Saldaรฑa, Nicole Kidman, Billy Bob Thornton, and Jeremy Renner.

Other originals on Paramount+ include “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” “Star Trek: Picard,” “Star Trek: Lower Decks,” “Transformers: EarthSpark,” and “Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”

Paramount+ Movies

The Paramount library includes some of the greatest movies ever made: “Gladiator,” “Rosemary’s Baby,” “Sunset Boulevard,” “The Martian,” “Top Gun,” “Interstellar,” “No Country For Old Men,” “The Wolf of Wall Street,” “Forrest Gump,” “There Will Be Blood,” “Titanic,” “Braveheart,” “Pulp Fiction,” “Witness,” “A Quiet Place,” “Scream,” “Minority Report,” “Major League,” “Mean Girls,” and “Collateral.”

Paramount+ is home to popular movie franchises like Transformers, Star Trek, Mission: Impossible, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Indiana Jones adventures.

Paramount+ TV Shows

Because Paramount owns so many TV channels, you’ll get a giant library with shows you first saw on CBS, BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, and Smithsonian Channel.

Kick back with favorites like “South Park,” โ€œGhosts,โ€ “Matlock,” “NCIS,” “Star Trek,” โ€œFrasier,โ€ โ€œBlue Bloods,โ€ โ€œThe Daily Show,โ€ โ€œCheers,โ€ โ€œI Love Lucy,โ€ โ€œEverybody Loves Raymond,โ€ and โ€œReno 911.โ€

Paramount+ also has live channels dedicated to its hit shows like “60 Minutes,” “PAW Patrol,” “CSI,” “Survivor,” and “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”

Paramount+ Premium unlocks SHOWTIME hits like “Dexter,” “Billions,” โ€œYellowjackets,โ€ “Ray Donovan,” “Your Honor,” “The L Word,” “The Chi,” and “The Curse.”

Paramount+ Kids Content

The service is great for kids because of the Nickelodeon connection. Youโ€™ll get โ€œPAW Patrol,โ€ โ€œSpongebob Squarepants,โ€ โ€œTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,โ€ “Bob the Builder,” “The Fairly OddParents,” “Rugrats,” “Blue’s Clues,” “Dora the Explorer,” โ€œPeppa Pig,โ€ and much more.

Is Paramount+ Worth It?

I think Paramount+ is a surprisingly good service with a lot of variety. If you have kids or your love sports (especially UFC and soccer), it’s a great addition to your lineup.

Paramount+ is slower than some services to deliver new movies. The new ownership is claiming they will invest more heavily in movies and TV, so the service could get more exciting over time.

Given the crazy price hikes on the way, an annual plan makes a lot of sense.
