With a new owner and some expensive new sports to pay for, the price of Paramount+ willl go up on January 15. Thankfully, you can keep the current prices for a year if you lock in the annual plan before then.

What Are the Paramount+ Price Changes?

While the monthly price of each Paramount+ plan will increase by just $1, the annual plans are going up far more: up $20 for the ad-free plan and up $30 for the ad-supported option.

This means grabbing the ad-supported annual plan now would save you $47.89 over paying 12 months at the new price.

Paramount+ is one of the most well-rounded streaming services. Its library has something for everyone. If you choose the ad-free Premium plan, you get to watch your live, local CBS affiliate.

I think Paramount+ is a surprisingly good service with a lot of variety. If you have kids or your love sports (especially UFC and soccer), it’s a great addition to your lineup.

Paramount+ is slower than some services to deliver new movies. The new ownership is claiming they will invest more heavily in movies and TV, so the service could get more exciting over time.

Given the crazy price hikes on the way, an annual plan makes a lot of sense.
