Pac-12 Locks Down Deal with CBS and Paramount+ Through 2030-31
The Pac-12 Conference has a new roster of schools and it’s making CBS and Paramount+ its primary homes. Here are the highlights:
- Annual football championship game on CBS and streamed live on Paramount+.
- Annual menโs basketball tournament championship game on CBS and Paramount+.
- At least three regular-season football games on CBS and Paramount+ each season.
- At least three regular-season menโs basketball games on CBS and Paramount+ each season.
- Football and menโs basketball games throughout the regular season on CBS Sports Network, with details to be announced at a later date.
The deal starts in 2026. The Pac-12 rights in 2025 will be a mess — The CW will have 13 games of the package with ESPN and CBS getting two games each.

Which Schools Are In the Pac-12 Now?
Oregon State and Washington State remain in the Pac-12. They’re joined by former Mountain West teamsย Fresno State, Utah State, Boise State, Colorado State, and San Diego State. Gonzaga is joining, but will not play football.
The league is looking for an eighth football school.
The conference officially begins play in 2026, when this deal with CBS kicks in.
Will the Pac-12 Network Return?
When 10 of the 12 teams left the conference in 2024, the Pac-12 Network shut down. It is unlikely to return.
