What Regional Sports Networks Are Available with Peacock?

If you live in Boston, Philadelphia, Northern California, or the Bay Area, you will be able to upgrade a Peacock subscription to include your regional sports network.

You don’t need an expensive Peacock subscription to add the regional sports network in these areas. Even the inexpensive Peacock Select ($7.99/mo.) works.

Can You Use Peacock to Watch NBC Sports Network?

NBC Sports Network is not included with Peacock, but that’s for a good reason. Virtually everything you may see on NBC Sports Network is already available with a Peacock subscription. There’s really no reason to add a linear channel that includes the same events Peacock carries.

Will Peacock Add More Channels?

It’s certainly possible Peacock could add more channels if it’s seeing positive results from its existing lineup. Peacock previously partnered with Hallmark Channel, but that deal expired in 2025.

For Peacock to carry a channel, it would likely come from an entertainment company that doesn’t already have its own streaming platform. That would rule out Paramount-owned channels like CBS, MTV, and Comedy Central, Disney-owned channels like ABC, ESPN, and FX, or Warner Bros. Discovery-owned channels like HBO, TNT, TBS, and CNN.

CIf Peacock adds channels, they will probably come from smaller entertainment companies or they’ll be the kinds of virtual non-cable channels you’d find on free streamers like Plex, Tubi, and Pluto TV.
