Utah Hockey Club Renames as Utah Mammoth – How to Watch Games Now
The NHL team in Utah is getting a glow-up today. The team announced it will be permanently called the Utah Mammoth, and that means a name change for its streaming service as well. Utah HC+ will become Mammoth+.
The team chose the name after four rounds of surveys and more than 850,000 votes. The other finalists were Utah Outlaws or keeping Utah Hockey Club.
Where Can You Watch Utah Mammoth Games?
Nationally televised games will air on ABC, TNT, truTV, ESPN, ESPN2, and NHL Network. To stream all those channels, your options are DIRECTV or Sling TV (in 8 markets).
If you live in Utah or within a 150-mile radius, you can subscribe to Mammoth+ to watch in-market games. That will cost $14.99/month or $69.99/year. Another option for fans in the Utah area is to choose SEG+, which provides 150+ Utah Jazz and Mammoth games for $174.99/year.

If you want to watch games outside the Mammoth viewing area, subscribe to ESPN+ and you’ll see all the games there.
ESPN+ is $11.99 on its own, but there are several other options. ESPN+ is included with the Disney Bundle starting at $16.99. It also comes free if you subscribe to Hulu + Live TV ($82.99). Another choice is DIRECTV’s MySports package, which includes most important sports channels and ESPN+ for just $69.99.
