Our Mission
Streaming Smarter was founded in 2025 with the goal of helping to simplify the often-confusing world of online video streaming services. Too many of these services hide their channel lists and price tiers behind a multi-click process or the requirement of a credit card.
We want to help you stretch your dollar and watch more movies, shows, TV channels, and live sports without the headaches.
Who We Are
Our founder is Ben Bowman, an Emmy Award-winning journalist with 25 years of professional experience. In 2020, he began covering streaming video services as the Content Director for a website similar to this one.
When Streaming Smarter was born, the idea was to cover the most important streaming news headlines and deals with a relentless focus on optimizing the streaming setup for bargain hunters, sports fans, seniors, and families.
Editorial Standards
Our reputation means everything to us. We will deliver the full truth in every article and review.
Our site does feature opinion content, especially in regard to reviews. It will be clear what is factual and what is opinion.
We always attribute news to the original source when available.
AI Usage
Our team does use AI in the creation of backend code and some graphics for the site. It is never, ever used in the creation of the words you read. Any writer discovered to have used AI in article creation would be terminated and the affected articles would be deleted.
How We Test Services
