Grateful Dead Launch ‘Play Dead’ Streaming Service with Live Concert Archive

Dead Heads, rejoice! You can now access a catalog of newly transferred, mastered and enhanced live recordings from the Grateful Dead. The band just released a new app called Play Dead, filled with concerts from the group’s legendary run.

At launch, the service features 20 previously unreleased shows from the vault. There will be two new releases every week.

Play Dead will also roll out previously released live recordings presented in both hi-res and chronological order by performance date, a first in Grateful Dead history.

The Play Dead app is available on the App Store and Google Play for iOS and Android and on the web.
